I love our craft and in 2010 I celebrated 20 years of hairdressing. My source of inspiration comes from old world trades such as hat designs, fabrics . My Training has stretched from Florida, Seattle, LA and New York.

After traveling to the four corners of the United States and training with amazing talent, It was my turn to have a go at assembling some amazing talent in one of the most beautiful places, Santa Fe.

Today we are nearly three years old and growing. One of the ways in which we continue to hone our craft while reaching out to our community of stylists, is hosting monthly courses. Our courses range from the art of timeless and classic looks to the most current creations in color and style. We are only interested in helping you feel and look your best and having the knowledge it takes to do so. What you will find here are stylists that care about your beauty and expression. We will listen and we will never stop learning.

VANESSA PEREZ

Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Spent seven years in Los Angeles, California honing her skills as a cutting specialist. She attends classes to stay up to date on the latest styles, techniques and styling products.

These skills help to create your best look in conjunction with her knowledge in different hairtypes. Inspired by nature and vintage elegance she captures glamour and class to enhance your best features mixed with a touch of individuality to create a more modern look. { designer 1 }

JULIE MOSS

I love my career! I started cutting hair when I was 12, earned my Barber license at 17, and later became a Cosmetologist. From 1981 -1985 I was the personal stylist for St Louis Mayor Vincent Schoemel. During my career I have freelanced theater work for the Muny Opera, Talent Plus Model Agency, and The Girls of Kansas City Calender.

In 1994 I became a color specialist/educator for Framise USA. While in Kansas City I owned and operated a unique salon and art space called One Block West Salon where we hosted exhibits of local artists. During my second year in Santa Fe I was honored to be selected by The New Mexican for their special make-over edition.

I love art and I consider myself an artist. Art and geometry are an integral part of what I do every day. Even after 30 years I am still excited about the creative nature of my industry. I am very pleased to be using Davines superior color and products and to be joining the very talented and inspiring team at Salon Del Mar. { designer 2 }

CHARLOTTE RIGHTER

Being part of this creative industry is a true pleasure. I started my career thirteen years ago in southern California. I've been a color specialist for seven.

I draw my inspirationfrom vintage hair styles and modern looks to create a cut and color that balances both.

My ultimate inspiration is the client.Having the opportunity to use the Davines products and color line gives me the ability to create, change and nurture the hair, correct damage while maintaing the integrity of the hair. { designer 1 }
